Beiber Flops…Finally

Well finally something involving Beiber is a flop.  I know he is an international superstar and teen heart throb but honeslty, I was never cast under his spell.  Perhaps that’s because I’m an adult not teenie bopper and I have eclectic taste in music.  Despite Beiber’s worldwide stardom, the edition of Vanity Fair in which he graces the cover has become one of the lowest-selling issues of all time.

The 17-year-old pop phenom, who graced the February cover of the magazine, officially has the worst-selling issue in 12 years, earning him a spot next to jointly poor-received Vanity cover men Will Smith and Harrison Ford.

According to the Audit Bureau of Circulation’s’ Rapid Report, Justin’s copy sold 246,000 (before being audited).

Apparently Bieber Fever doesn’t always translate to magazine sales, as his October 2010 Teen Vogue cover sold 12 percent below the average along with his April 2010 People cover, which became the third worst seller for the mag that year.  All I have to say hahahahahaha.  Finally, something involving Beiber isn’t a hit.  This won’t hurt him in the least though, it’s likely just because the magazine is more adult than Beiber’s core audience and had he landed the cover of Teen Vogue or Seventeen he would have sold record highs.
