The avid dolphin lover, Hayden Panettiere hit the water for a fun filled shoot in the September 2011 issue of Condé Nast Traveler.
Set to hit newsstands on August 23rd, the former “Heroes” hottie grabbed a perch atop a boat’s rail while cruising alongside a pack of dolphins for the magazine’s Visionaries offering.
As for being selected to appear in the publication, Miss Panettiere is well known for her effort to save the world’s endangered whales and dolphins and it was no question as to whether or not she’d do this shoot.
Joining Hayden in the Condé Nast Traveler feature are fellow do-good celebs including
“Renée Zellweger and British talk-show host Mariella Frostrup, who fight poverty by empowering women across Africa; musician Harry Connick, Jr., who after Hurricane Katrina built the New Orleans Habitat Musicians’ Village, with 77 new homes; Liberian president Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, who as Africa’s first female head of state is giving stability and real economic prospects to her ravaged country; Twitter founders Jack Dorsey, Biz Stone, and Evan Williams, who have demonstrated in a whole new way that information (even 140 characters’ worth) is power; and Egyptian novelist, political activist (and dentist) Alla Al Aswany, who helped turn the tide in the revolution that swept his country.”
