She’s quickly become one America’s top models, especially with her work in Victoria’s Secret and Transformers, and Rosie Huntington Whiteley has been picked to cover the April 2012 issue of Vogue Brazil.
The 24-year-old British beauty looked stunning for the Henrique Gendre shot front page, with the production having been directed by Luis Fiod Mint Agency this past January in Brazil.
Teasing what’s included in the accompanying column, a short snippet has Rosie praising the South American locale by saying,
“I’ve only experienced special times when I was here.”
She also is noted as bringing up the transition from models to Hollywood actresses when it comes to ad slots, telling,
“The actresses of Hollywood began to sweep us under the rug, gaining more and more fashion campaigns and magazine covers.”
That is true and is something I hadn’t really thought about. If you look back at old magazine covers from the 80’s and 90’s, models dominated…Think Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford. Who sold you products? Top Models. Now we have celebrities such as actresses and singers selling us products and covering our magazines which just shows an interesting shift in media. Anyways, I love Rosie Huntington Whiteley, she is just gorgeous and of course looks spectacular in this shoot. Here are the pics:
